Computer Games, Reviewers, and Writers, Oh My!
Heya everyone!
Today Jason and I spoke with a computer game creator to examine the prospect of expanding our market to that realm.
After understanding what sort of material is involved in the matter, I've decided to give it a pass for now.
While I have doubtless worked very hard to create spreadsheets and a very in-depth idea for what the game would entail, it is a complicated enough game WITHOUT the endless details and on paper alone. Programming it would be a considerable usage of time, if not necessarily money, and for now I should like to work on books and board games before tackling such an enormous project.
Yes.
That being said, at least there is a definitive conclusion to that.
In the meantime, I'm now writing basic letters to various board game review organizations to try to grab ahold of someone's attention and build some hype for the game. Later today, I shall give the cards one last examination and work on the aviation book, as well as book two of the Finch Folio!
That's right, Nathan Carroll and Veronica Hatala have both finished their reviews on the second book in the duology and I feel ready to do some revision!
To make matters all the better, famed Book Doctor Beth Wright, a fellow Carleton College alum, has taken an interest in my book series and has agreed to also offer pointers on its editing and production!
HUZZAY!
This is rather good news, you know?
