Defending the Colonies hits Amazon.com
After 10 years and several different incarnations and editations, my professional authoring career has debuted at last. Late last July, the first of the two-book Finch Folio starring the fictional Crown forces engineering officer, Giles Finch, has at last been released on Amazon.com. Only 162 pages in length, Defending the Colonies is a short but engaging alternative historical fiction on the topic of the American War of Independence from the British perspective, focusing not just on battles, but on politics, family, and interpersonal interaction.
While perhaps not exactly historically accurate (after all, the storyline has a fictional character and the battles and their outcomes are meant to differ from their historical counterparts - it is meant to tell of what the Revolution could have been like), I have strove to make it feasible and intriguing, and I hope everyone who reads it enjoys reading it as much as I do writing it.
